More Than Reading

Someone told me, “To be a writer, you must be a very good reader, you must have read numerous books.”
And I totally agreed on that.

But I’m telling you, reading a lot of books is important, but understanding the contents, being able to interpret the devices used, learning from the themes, and most importantly, letting the influence of a good book make effective impact in your life is more important, even if it’s just one book you’ve read!
I could still remember a book I read when I was in primary school, although I don’t really have much interest in the details of the book, but I know the lessons I learnt from ‘Ego The Kind Girl’ would never depart from me.

  1. In reality, this timepiece is decades-old.

    1. I find it a bit difficult to understand you, because here too is “reality”.

Forgive my ignorance, elaborate to me what you mean.
